The Linux-x86-2-Tcl8.0 binaries where built on a RedHat 5.1 system.
With egcs version egcs-2.90.27 980315 (egcs-1.0.2 release).  RH 5.1 also
uses glibc.

You man need to re-compile if your system is different.  You may or may
not need to apply the included patch (RH51r2r3.pat) before you (re-)run
./configure.
